I would prefer that he get charged with a criminal offense. Barring that the only recourse is a civil action. IMHO, his actions were very selfish. He endangered many people and could have spread the disease worldwide in an attempt to save himself. He also violated another country's good will toward us when our own country prevented him from travelling.

KH, how would you like it if some with an infectious disease sat beside you on the plane when that person was ordered not to fly. Don't you think there should be some consequence for his actions?
Reply:No one should be able to file a lawsuit unless they actually contract the disease.I think this is just a bunch of people who smell "easy" money.
Reply:I would have said no if it was not for the fact that he knowingly traveled with the disease. He knew he was going to be putting people at risk. I do think that if they did not contract the disease that they should not be able to sue but my goodness this was just not right for him to do that and then to be so sneaky when they were looking for him to come back to the country. I am sorry he is sick but what if he ended up getting a child or elderly person sick and their bodies could not handle it.
Reply:he should have stayed off the planes, how selfish of him to put others in jeopardy. he above all should have known law suits would follow. .
Reply:Not only is Mr. Speak a lawyer...but he is a personal injury atty.

Such sweet revenge.
