THE CHAP IN THE PET SHOP ASSURED ME IT WILL GET RID OF ANY CRITTER'S, FROM HOUSE MITES,FLEA'S TO COCKROACHES, I CERTAINLY DO HOPE SO AS MR TIBBS(ME MA'S CAT) HAS BEEN WITH ME FOR SUM DAYS NOW AND THE VETS SAID HE HAS A FLEA INFESTATION(YUK) MAKE MY SKIN CRAWL @ THE MERE THOUGHT OF.HE HANG'S OUT ON THE ARM OF THE SETTE AND THE KITCHEN WORKTOPS SO IM HOPIN THAT "CANOVEL" WILL RID FLAT NUCKS N CRANNIES OF ANY CRITTERS THAT MR TIBBS HAS KINDLY GIVEN ME. I PLAN ON WAITING FOR HIM TO CLEAR OUT(THIS MONDAY) THEN LET THE BOMB DO THE BIZZ, WILL IT I WONDER. I NEED,ID APPRECIATE INPUT ON THIS ONE AS IM "OH YE OF LITTLE FAITH"

We have been fighting an infestation for a couple of weeks now - I didn't notice it because my cats are housecats so it has really got a hold.


We've found the trick of leaving bowls of water beside a table lamp on the floors is wonderful for tracking how successful we are being - count the number of drowned fleas in the mornings. Still finding some, but at least the cats have stopped scratching and there are no black bits when I combe them.
Reply:right before you bomb, get a tablet from the vet called Capstar and then remove the cat from the area while you bomb - it will kill anything on the cat within 5 minutes (but does nothing to prevent them from coming back). it will help ensure your cat doesn't walk out with fleas just to bring them back into the house after you've gone thru the trouble of bombing it. while the kitty is out of house, put something like advantage, revolution or frontlline on him to keep fleas form coming back. and please don't get a flea liquid at the pet store for this part - it will not work. get it thru your vet instead. it's more expensive there but if you have to buy 3 or 4 from the pet store to equal what one from the vet can do, you end up saving yourself in the long run. good luck!
Reply:I'm a pest control officer the best thing to do is get the cat away front line the cat Th a spot on treatment this will protect your cat for 4-6 weeks then strip the house down settee covers the lot get a good spray treatment from the pet shop make sure the spray you get has a chemical called deltamethrin or pybutherin in it then treat the house all wall floor junctions ,below the settee under cushions behind picture frames the lot 5 days later repeat the same procedure this should do the trick fleas love warm places like settees and rugs if you bomb the place it only kills whats living not eggs
